Well, i am happy to say that sky had a much better day today! He was in good spirits and joking with the nurses and all of us. His nausea has subsided for the most part, and he took his last chemotherapy pill of this cycle today as well too. His white blood cell count was low, but that was to be expected, and the doctor gave him a shot to speed up the process of rebuilding the white blood cells. I don't wanna get everyone's hopes up too much, but the doctor even gave Sky permission to attend the benefit, seeing as it will fall on the same weekend as what is scheduled to be his strongest days, right before his next chemotherapy cycle. So everyone pray that he will be feeling good enough to go up to Napa.
Right now he is still in the hospital, but the good news being that he was finally moved up to the oncology ward, and away from the idiots he was surrounded by before. We are hoping for a release from the hospital soon, but he has to be having bowel movements and keeping food down as well as not having any fever, which he had last night.
It was just great to see him being Sky today, as opposed to yesterday. We love you buddy! Cant wait to have you home again.

We will take any good news we can get and that is good. Still praying for you and missing you. We love you and hope that you will get to go home soon but are glad you are being taken care of. Keep up the good fight. We love you Sky!!

This is awesome news!!!! The power of prayer is kickin in...BIG TIME!!! FYI, the prayer circle(of love) has extended to Austrailia, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England, and all over the USA!! Omg, it makes me tear up to see how humans will respond to such a simple request. People are notifying their congregations and forwarding my email to everyone on their list..asking that they forward it to everyone on their list....and on and on...this is big. :) :) :)
I've also gotten some REALLY nice donations for the fundraiser....some wine from Silver Oak Cellars, a hot air balloon ride, a basket of goodies from Peets, some gift cards...the list goes on. How cool it will be if in fact you can get up here to see how much you are loved!!!!

Aaron-thanks for always posting :) its great to hear good news no matter what time its posteed :) Sky-hope you get out of that place soon (try clicking your heels together and repeating "there's no place like home"-it worked for Dorothy)--it would be so great if you are able to get up to Napa for the benefit(i think its a sign seeing that those days are supposed to be your strongest).
My aunts out here are always checking your blog, asking how you you are doing and telling me to tell you that you are in their thoughts and prayers. Sorry that i won't be back in time for the benefit, but i hope you are up for a visit from me and mike the day i get back from Illinois :)

Hey sweetie, glad to hear you are being yourself. I hope you get to go home soon, I know you are missing your chair. I am glad you got moved to the oncology ward where they can take better care of you and you have new nurses to look at, LOL. That would be awesome if you could make it to the benefit, I know I said you shouldn't come, that was jerky of me. I was just worried about you and your health. You're doing great Sky! One obstacle at a time. You've got an amazing support group with God as your Leader. Be prepared to be absolutely overwhelmed with love and amazement at your benefit. Don't forget to wear your mask though no matter how good you feel that day (sorry, that was the mom coming out in me). As always, your in my daily prayers.
