hump day

Yesterday I went to my lung doc and he seemed pretty optimistic, he had said that they had a big meeting about me and the head oncologist "my doctor" has never seen anything like this and was asking all other input from all other cancer doctors. But he also said that he thinks chemo is working and my lung has a chance to be cancer free. I was happy to hear some positive words from him, Even though its a long way away from happing at least he had hope also. He reschedule me for another meeting in 4 months, I said lets make it 16 month. So it looks like less fluid then what was left from the last procedure which leds to believe chemo is killing the cancer and reducing the liquid.
But on the other note I'm fifty fifty about my cancer maybe my cancer will die easily with the chemo because they don't know any thing about it, I just kinda want a doctor that seen my kind of case and knows how to cure me, But I really like my oncoligest she so nice and optimistic but I need someone that ready for this and knows what to do.
As far as today I feel good and I think i
I'm going to rematch Aaron at golf. I love everyone,Sky

hey sky--first, i would like to say that i was so ecstatic when i found out you were on your way to the benefit (we had been hearing that you weren't feeling well and weren't going to be able to come)--but you did :) it was so fun and i couldn't resist that cute son of yours--(cutest baby award-remember?!) and i will remember that dance forever!!!
The night went as planned!
mike and i got some cool stuff from the auction but more importantly the money went straight to you :) Glad to hear what a success it was (props to all those who made it happen).
I love reading your blog when it has good news--finally it sounds like those doctors are getting their act together and trying to figure your specific case!!
Have fun golfing!!!

I hope you beat Aaron at golf! As for your doctor, the important thing you said is that she is consulting other doctors and staying on top of this. Just keep asking questions and keep talking to people. You never know where it can lead you. Nice to hear good news! Always in my prayers.

Hey Sky,

It's great to hear some good news. I hear what you're saying about being more comfortable if they knew exactly what they were treating. What's happenin with Ratinal Therapeutics? They sound like they are the "men for the job". The prayer circle continues to grow and I put an update out there every week or so, to keep things fresh in everyone's mind.

Lauryn was telling me that Mary's Pizza Shack does fundraisers wherein you would get a percentage of their profits for the night. Maybe worth looking into, no?

Sorry Aaron, but I hope you got womped in golf, I can't stand the thought of Mark Whalberg posters all over the walls down there. :)

To everyone on the "Dream Team", you guys and gals are the best friends anyone could ask for. It does my heart good to know that love abounds.........one day at a time.

Keep smilin',

Hi All..to answer a question...Rational Therapeutics is a definite possibility...Sky can do 8 cycles of chemo with Kaiser Dr...has to wait for 4 weeks after chemo to do the biopsy for the R.T. Dr.and then begin their protocol...so he is starting round 3 next Tuesday..the 19th(with Kaiser)..We are so grateful for the improvement..and the good days he has!!! Thank U ALL for EVERYTHING!!!!...LOVE, MOM
